Summary of my weight loss:
I have loss 18 kg + 25.5 inches with 2 Herbalife shakes + 1 normal meal.
I loss another 1 kg + 24.1 inches after I stopped taking Herbalife shakes.
To date, I have lost a total of 19 kg + 49.6 inches of my body.
I'm currently taking 2-3 normal meals per day.
I'm no longer dependent on Herbalife Shakes for more than 5 years.

The Best Time To Take Your Herbalife Shakes

This article will show you when to take some of the top supplements and how to get the most out of them.

The Best Time To Take Your Supplements

The best times to take ANY protein drink or protein supplements are as follows.

Listed below are in order of importance, so based upon what you can afford, start at the top of the list and work down.

When Should You Take It?

1. The most important time is right after a workout.
- Your muscles are like a sponge and need instant nutrition for muscle recovery and growth.

2. Right before bed.
- You're about to sleep for 6 to 8 hours. That's a long time without protein.
- Could you imagine going throughout your day (when awake) not eating 6 to 8 hours?
- Right before bed is important.

3. Right upon waking.
- Same thing, you've just gone 6 to 8 hours without proper nutrition. Your body needs protein quick.

4. Half hour before a workout.
- This sets up the "anabolic window" before your workout and provides your muscles with adequate nutrition so that the effects of weight training (weight training breaks down muscle-called catabolic) are not as severe.


if you're consuming Herbalife shakes to lose weight, below is the menu (created by yours truly) that you could follow by implementing the above suggestion.

since the menu to lose weight in Herbalife is 2 shakes + 1 normal meal per day, for this example, let say you replace your meals with shakes during breakfast and dinner, normal meal is taken during lunch.

as usual, please remember to make sure
- all meals have at least 3 hour gaps
- your calorie intake is above 1200 calories and below your calories needs
- for the extra shakes, you may mix your shakes with plain water

a) sample menu #1 : you choose to do workout in the morning

wake up @ 6 am
pre-workout @ 6.30 am = shakes (drank right after you're done getting ready)
workout @ 7-8 am
post-workout @ 8-ish am = shakes (when you have cool down)
lunch @ 1 pm = normal meal
dinner @ 6 pm = shakes
supper @ 10 pm = shakes (drank right before bedtime)
bedtime @ 11 pm

b) sample menu #2 : you choose to do workout in the evening

wake up @ 6 am
breakfast @ 7 am = shakes (drank right after you're done getting ready)
lunch @ 1 pm = normal meal
pre-workout @ 4.30 pm = shakes
workout @ 5-6 pm
post-workout @ 6-ish pm= shakes (when you have cool down)
dinner @ 10 pm = shakes (drank right before bedtime)
bedtime @ 11 pm
